Project Description
Problem
In the Netherlands, professional reviews about the product itself are really desired but all of them are spread in different places and formats. There is no space or tool which gathers all the biggest and the most respectful newspapers in one place.
Challenge
Creating an app to analyze and arrange data from different structures of newspapers, finding data hiding in the text. Our team faced these questions: How to scrape reviews from newspapers where every single one has a different structure? How to find a product within the article when it is hidden in the text? How to manage the content? How to deal with the legacy app where the previous company failed?
Outcome
Most important, we’ve delivered working ecosystem of applications through which users can get all the biggest and the most respectful newspapers in one place. Practically our software team redesigned architecture, helped with legacy code in iOS, and created fully functional Android application.
