At DO OK, we believe that the future of education lies in harnessing technology to make learning more inclusive, personalized, and engaging. Over the past two years, together with our partners, we have been working on CREATE - a research and development project co-funded by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) under the Eurostars 3 program.
One of the biggest challenges in early childhood education is that every child learns differently. Some face language barriers, cognitive difficulties, or dyslexia at an early stage. With CREATE, we set out to design AI-driven adaptive learning algorithms that respond dynamically to each child’s pace, abilities, and interests.
Our team developed advanced data models, APIs, and backend infrastructure capable of collecting and processing gameplay data in real time. These solutions enabled teachers and researchers to gain deeper insights into how children interact, learn, and progress.
At the heart of the project lies YOLI, our interactive learning platform that merges physical play with digital intelligence. Children use tactile tiles and a smart board to create their own stories and games. Each choice feeds into AI models that personalize the experience, ensuring no two sessions are alike.
We also integrated motion-sensitive speakers making gameplay truly immersive. Beyond entertainment, YOLI provides educators with dashboards to monitor development and adapt learning paths.

In the final stage of CREATE, we successfully carried out operational demonstrations of the system. This included:
- Relational database and APIs designed for adaptive learning monitoring.
- Integration of motion-enabled speakers, tiles, and a mobile app into a cohesive platform.
- Visualization dashboards presenting progress data in an accessible way for teachers and parents.
- Validation in real-life educational environments, confirming both technical stability and educational value.
The global market for educational technology is rapidly expanding. Together with YOLI, we are entering the connected edutoys segment, offering unique value: haptic interaction, adaptive AI personalization, and measurable learning outcomes.
The CREATE project demonstrates how AI and play-based learning can transform education for the youngest learners. By combining cutting-edge research with thoughtful product design, we are preparing with YOLI not only for classrooms and families in Poland but also for the global stage.
